Travis Wiley has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Travis began their career in 1996 as a Weapon System Technician in the US Navy, where they provided technical troubleshooting and maintenance for Navy Phalanx Close-In Weapons Systems. Throughout their tenure in the navy, they held various roles such as Law Enforcement Specialist, Senior Weapon System Maintenance Supervisor, and Missile Warfare Officer.
In 2016, Travis joined SCCI as a System Engineer, where they provided system engineering support and advice for team integration on new and existing platforms. Travis also supported testing and test planning of the MK 160 Gun Computer system.
Travis then moved to Whitney, Bradley & Brown (WBB) in 2017 as a Program Analyst. Travis also conducted financial reviews of budgetary information and compared funding amounts to fiscal controls.

Travis Wiley pursued their education at the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2016 to 2020. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Prior to their university studies, they also attended the U.S. Navy Combat Systems Technical Core for a year in 1996. There, they focused on learning the foundations of Basic Electricity and Electronics theory as an Electronics Technician/Fire Control Technician.
