Senior Mechanical Engineer at SPAAN Tech

Andre Kovalenko has a diverse range of work experience in engineering and design roles. Andre began their career in 2000 as a Senior Electrical Designer at Illinois J. Livingston Inc. where they were responsible for producing drawing sets and preparing working drawings and wiring diagrams.

In 2004, Andre joined ABD & Associates as a Mechanical Engineer, where they focused on calculations for heating and cooling load, building energy modeling, and equipment and system airflow. Andre remained with the company until 2010.

From 2011 to 2012, Andre worked as an HVAC Design Engineer at Holabird and Root Inc., where they continued to perform energy calculations and building modeling.

Starting in 2012, Andre joined BM International Builders as a Field Services Engineer, where they managed project administration and prepared reports, design plans, and contract documents for construction projects. Andre stayed with the company until 2015.

Between 2018 and 2019, Andre worked at Bancroft-AE as a Mechanical Engineer, focusing on detailed designs, assessments, and renovations of HVAC and plumbing systems.

Most recently, Andre has been working at SPAAN Tech, Inc. since 2019 as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Andre'sresponsibilities include conducting field surveys, property condition assessments, and generating reports, as well as redesigning HVAC and plumbing systems for existing buildings to improve performance and reduce costs.

Throughout their career, Andre has demonstrated expertise in mechanical engineering, calculations, design, and project management.

From 1987 to 1993, Andre Kovalenko attended Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. The field of study is not specified.
