Sam Critchley

Sam Critchley has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sam began their career at UUNET, where they worked as a TAC Engineer and later as an International Systems Engineer. Sam played a pivotal role in troubleshooting network issues and designing and configuring new networks across multiple European countries.

In 2000, Sam joined Worldcom, where they served as the Manager of Access and Backbone Networks and later as the Network Synergy Engineering Manager. Sam was responsible for developing convergence and cost-reduction solutions for Worldcom's European networks, resulting in the introduction of new QoS mechanisms and tunneling methods. Sam also headed a virtual team for IP address management and registration policies.

In 2002, Sam founded the A2B Location-Based Search Engine, showcasing their entrepreneurial abilities. Sam went on to co-found GyPSii, a popular mobile location-aware social media network with millions of members worldwide. Sam served as a Co-Founder and played a significant role in developing the platform and delivering business solutions to partners.

Sam's career then led him to advisory roles, including serving on the Board of Advisors for Libersy and as a Founding Advisor for Skilio.com. Sam provided valuable insights and guidance to these organizations.

In 2004, Sam became a Co-Founder and Non-Executive Director at The Cavell Group, a telecommunications and ICT infrastructure services provider. Sam later focused on business development for the group.

Sam's most recent role is as the Co-Founder and CTO of Spaaza, an incentive marketing platform for brands. Sam has been instrumental in improving customer relationships, enhancing sales conversion, and increasing profitability across various channels.

Sam Critchley received a BA (Joint Honours) degree in French and Philosophy from King's College London (University of London) from 1992 to 1996. In 2019, Sam Critchley obtained the certification for NT2-II (Nederlandse taal/Dutch language) from Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs (DUO).
