Shawn K.

Shawn K. is a skilled program manager with extensive experience in the space and defense sectors. Currently serving as a Program Manager at the Space Development Agency since July 2022, Shawn previously worked at NAVWAR, where roles included Engineer (Space Systems) and Assistant Program Manager (Space System Science and Technology). Earlier experience includes serving as Program Manager for Ship Maintenance at the Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, and as Project Manager for Satellite Payloads and Software Applications at the National Reconnaissance Office. Shawn's background as an Operations Officer in the US Navy involved leading ship operations and training, and began as an Electronics Technician. Shawn holds a Master of Science in Astronautical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, a Master's degree in Engineering Administration from Virginia Tech, and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Engineering from Drexel University.
