Alexander Patrus is currently a student at UCLA, pursuing a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. With extensive experience in engineering roles, Alexander serves as Recovery Lead and Avionics Engineer at Space Enterprise at Berkeley, managing the development of systems for rocket recovery and working on a LOX/Propane liquid rocket project. As Project Lead at Bioelectric Engineering Research at UC Berkeley, Alexander spearheads the design and testing of a wristwatch to detect dementia through hand movements while currently seeking approval for human testing. Previous positions include Rover Designer and Programmer for a U.S. military contract project, and Mechanical Lead on the Hart District Robotics Team, contributing to a team that qualified for the 2018 FIRST Robotics World Tournament. Alexander's educational background includes multiple associate degrees from College of the Canyons, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley.
