Alexey P. is a Senior Research Scientist at the Space Science Institute since January 2011, specializing in the study of Mars and its water-related atmospheric dynamics. Prior to this role, Alexey served as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Jet Propulsion Laboratory, focusing on the retrieval and mapping of water vapor in the Martian atmosphere. Alexey's experience includes working as a Project Scientist at Global Aerospace Corporation on NASA-funded projects involving long-duration balloons for planetary exploration, as well as research roles at California Institute of Technology and Ceres, Inc. Alexey holds a Ph.D. in Planetary Sciences and a Certificate in Engineering Management from Caltech, along with a Master's degree in Physics from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
