Paktian Marzai has a diverse work experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Paktian began their career as an intern at Siemens, where they received basic training in manual and machine processing of metal parts. Paktian then interned at Airbus, where they gained experience in structural testing of aircraft components.

Marzai furthered their career at CADCON as a Computational Engineer, specializing in aerospace and defense. Paktian then joined Premium AEROTEC as a Stress Engineer, focusing on the Airbus A380 wing structure. In this role, they were responsible for manufacturing support and strength verification of components.

Marzai later joined Space Structures GmbH, starting as a Structural Analysis Engineer. Here, they performed structural analysis and testing of various spacecraft structures and payloads. Paktian also worked as a Work Package Manager, handling technical management for international projects. Marzai eventually became the Head of Engineering Services, leading a team of structural and thermal engineers while managing engineering activities.

Throughout their career, Marzai has demonstrated expertise in structural analysis, test engineering, and project management in the aerospace industry.

Paktian Marzai studied Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Engineering Design and Development at Berlin University of Applied Sciences Berlin (BHT) from 2007 to 2011. Paktian obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree during this period.
