Mohsen Ghanbari

Mohsen Ghanbari, PhD, EIT, currently serves as a SAR Algorithms Engineer at SpaceAlpha Insights since October 2021, focusing on the development of advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) payloads utilizing X- and L-bands alongside a High-Speed On-Board Processor and Self-Cueing Technology. Key contributions include conducting SAR beam simulations, defining calibration concepts, implementing hardware solutions in FPGA Model Composer, and assessing multistatic SAR performance capabilities. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo from September 2016 to August 2021, where Mohsen worked towards a Ph.D. in Systems Design Engineering and served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for courses in Digital Computation and Algorithms and Data Structures. Academic qualifications include a PhD from the University of Waterloo, a Master's in Remote Sensing from K.N. Toosi University, and a Bachelor's in Geomatics Engineering from the University of Tehran.
