Jesper Rølund

Jesper Rølund has diverse experience in various roles and industries. In 1992, they started their career as a Blacksmith Apprentice at Ringsted Karosserifabrik, where they worked until 1995. Jesper then joined The Royal Danish Theatre as a Scene Technician in 1996. In 1999, Jesper founded and owned Zens Gallery until 2004. From 2002 to 2008, they worked as a Project Manager at The Danish Architects Association. In 2007, they had an internship as a Project Manager at The Danish Art Workshops. In 2009, they became a Project Manager at Danish Art Workshops for a short period. In 2008, they co-founded Freebird & Sunshine, where they worked until their next venture. In 2015, Jesper founded SpaceInvader, a company that gains economic and environmental value from unused cargo space. Jesper was also a finalist in the Danish Tech Challenge 2015 organized by Scion DTU. Overall, Jesper has a diverse background with experience in entrepreneurship, project management, and technical roles.

Jesper Rølund attended Teknisk Skole from 1991 to 1995, where they earned their High School diploma with a focus on Metal. In 1997, they briefly attended Kunsthøjskolen i Holbæk. Following this, from 1998 to 1999, Jesper attended Niels Brock, where they studied Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Finally, they pursued a Master of Architecture degree in Contemporary Architecture at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture from 2002 to 2008.
