Thomas (T.J.) Snyder has a diverse work experience, starting in 2006 as a Production Supervisor at C&D Technologies. Thomas (T.J.) then moved on to become a Mechanical Engineer/Process Engineer at Sharpe Engineering Equipment from 2007 to 2009. In 2011, they joined Johnson Industries International, Inc. as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where they worked until 2015. Since 2015, Thomas has been working at Spacesaver Corporation, initially as a Mechanical Design Engineer and currently as a Product Configuration Engineer and CAD Administrator.
Thomas (T.J.) Snyder began their education in 2000, studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Thomas (T.J.) obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the university in 2006.
After a gap in their education, Thomas resumed their studies in 2011 at Madison Area Technical College. Thomas (T.J.) pursued a degree in Project Management and completed the program in 2012.
In addition to their formal education, Thomas has obtained various certifications. In 2011, they completed the SolidWorks 2010 Achievement Course I & II at Madison College. In 2012, they received the 3-A SSI for Beginners and the Basics of Sanitary Design certification from 3-A Sanitary Standards, Inc. and also obtained a Project Management certification from Madison College.
Thomas further expanded their skills by completing the EcoLAB Training Seminar offered by Ecolab in 2008. Thomas (T.J.) later achieved a Six Sigma White Belt Certification from Aveta Business Institute in 2015 and a Six Sigma Yellow Belt from the University of Wisconsin-Madison - School of Business in 2017.
