Billy Burkey

Billy Burkey is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in aerospace and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as Principal Starlink Engineer at SpaceX, Billy has previously held positions such as Sr. Manager and Manager of Dragon Structures Engineering at SpaceX. Earlier experience includes internships at DaimlerChrysler in Commercial Truck Chassis Engineering, W. M. Keck Observatory in Mechanical Engineering, and Canada France Hawaii Telescope in Software Engineering. Billy holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, completed between 2003 and 2007, and attended Hawaii Preparatory Academy from 1999 to 2003.
