Theodore McDonald

Theodore McDonald is a Principal Engineer at SpaceX, with experience in propulsion test and development, specifically involving the Merlin and Raptor Engine programs. McDonald has held various roles including Sr. Manager, Raptor Test Manager, and Propulsion Test Engineer, leading development campaigns and overseeing flight hardware acceptance testing. Prior to SpaceX, McDonald completed a Major Qualifying Project at Worcester Polytechnic Institute focused on hybrid rocket motor and injector design, guiding a team in the development of a Paraffin/N2O hybrid propulsion system. McDonald holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Aerospace Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and has previous experience as a CAD Teaching Assistant and a summer intern at Sensis Corporation.
