Catherine DeDecker has a work history spanning over three decades at Spalding DeDecker. Catherine has held various roles within the company, including Survey Field Technician, Survey Office Technician, IT Administrator, Survey Project Manager, Office Manager, Marketing Manager, Vice President, and Business Development and Marketing Manager. Catherine first attended Macomb Community College from 1984 to 1992, where they obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Architectural Drafting. Catherine then pursued further education at Michigan Technological University from 1994 to 1998, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Land Surveying. Additionally, from 1994 to 1996, they returned to Macomb Community College to complete an Associate of Applied Science degree in Land Surveying.
In addition to their formal education, Catherine DeDecker holds several certifications related to their field. Catherine is a certified First Aid, CPR, and AED Instructor, accredited by the Health and Safety Institute. Catherine is also a licensed professional surveyor in Florida, Michigan, and Ohio, granted by the State Licensing Boards of each respective state. Furthermore, they are a certified Michigan Boating Safety Instructor, which is obtained through the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
