Garo Basmadjian

Garo Basmadjian is an experienced engineering and management professional with a diverse background in technology, music, and education. Currently serving as Engineering Manager and previously in roles such as Engineering Analyst and Designer at SPAN Group since July 2005, Garo also holds the position of Managing Partner at Yardbird since June 2020. Garo's experience in academia includes a brief role as an Instructor at the American University of Beirut in early 2021. Prior to these positions, Garo contributed as a bass player and assistant band manager at Al Mandaloun from July 2011 to June 2014 and worked as an IT Assistant at Haigazian University, where responsibilities included hardware and software maintenance and design work. Garo began a career in technical installation as a TAB Assistant on the St. George Hospital Project with SORTEC HVAC. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from the American University of Beirut and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Haigazian University.
