Douglas Booms

Douglas Booms has extensive experience in corporate development and executive roles. Douglas currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at SPAN since 2022. Prior to that, they held various leadership positions at Amazon, including Vice President of New Products and Vice President of Pack Automation - Worldwide Ops Robotics. Douglas also served as the Vice President and Technical Advisor for Amazon Devices and Services, as well as Vice President of Worldwide Corporate Development. Before joining Amazon, Douglas worked in corporate development roles at Avid Technology, Double Fusion Inc., and Hyperion Solutions. Douglas also worked as a Senior Associate at Lightspeed Venture Partners and as a Summer Associate at Accel Partners. Douglas began their career as a Sr. Associate at APM - CSC Healthcare.

Douglas Booms completed their AB in Economics from Princeton University in the years 1989 to 1994. Following that, they pursued an MBA in Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 1997 to 1999.
