Gabriel Castro

Gabriel Castro is an accomplished broadcasting professional with extensive experience in engineering and programming across multiple radio stations. Currently serving as Chief Engineer at Spanish Broadcasting System since February 2022, Gabriel has previously held significant roles such as Director of Engineering at SBS - Mega TV and General Manager/Director of Engineering at Urbana FM, Orlando's first Spanish Urban radio station. With a strong background as Program Director at Ritmo 93 Orlando and Latino 99.7 FM, Gabriel has been pivotal in managing day-to-day programming and was involved in the launch of Central Florida's first Spanish FM Salsa station. Additional expertise includes tenures as Production Director at WYUU-FM and WQQZ-FM, overseeing station imaging, commercial production, and creative content development.
