Head Molecular Imaging Department at CNIO - Spanish National Cancer Research Centre

Francisca Mulero is a seasoned professional in the field of molecular imaging and nuclear medicine with extensive experience since 2007 as the Head of the Molecular Imaging Department at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO). Currently serving as an imaging expert at the IMAGE ANALYSIS GROUP since January 2020, Francisca Mulero specializes in oncology, particularly in preclinical and clinical PET imaging. As Chief of the Advisory Board for the MIT M+Vision Consortium, Francisca Mulero plays a pivotal role in the IDEA3 Fellowship Program and co-chairs the selection committee. Previous experience includes a position as a Nuclear Medicine Specialist at Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca from 1994 to January 2007, focusing on PET imaging and metabolic therapy. Educational qualifications include degrees in Medicine and Surgery, a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine, and management training tailored for scientists and researchers.
