Marcos Malumbres

Marcos Malumbres is a prominent researcher with extensive experience in oncology and biological sciences. Currently serving as Group Leader at the Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO) since January 2023, Marcos has also held the position of Group Leader and Staff Scientist at the CNIO since September 1998, where contributions were made in Mariano Barbacid's lab. Previous experience includes working as an Assistant Scientist at New York University Medical Center from January 1994 to September 1998. Marcos holds a Doctorate in Ciencias Biológicas from Universidad de León (1988-1993) and a Licenciado in Ciencias Biológicas from the University of Navarra (1982-1987).
