Marcela Lopez

Marcela Lopez is the President and Founder of Spanish Solutions, a language services company based in Miami, Florida. Marcela has over 20 years of experience in the translation and interpretation industry, having worked with a variety of clients in both the private and public sectors.

Marcela began their career as a Foreign Trade Assistant with Arcor SAIC in 1998. In this role, they assisted with the import/export process for the company's products and services. Marcela then transitioned to Precision Translating Services in 2001, where they worked as a legal interpreter under the supervision of Vicente de la Vega. This experience was invaluable in their development as a professional interpreter.

In 2000, Marcela founded SPS International Exchanges, a placement agency that works with international travel agents and U.S. sponsoring organizations to facilitate J1 visa programs. Through job fairs, SPS provides employment opportunities for students interested in working in the United States. The company has placed students with employers in a variety of industries, including hospitality, healthcare, and education.

Most recently, Marcela has focused their efforts on Spanish Solutions, which they founded in 2010. The company provides translation and interpretation services for a wide range of clients, including businesses, government agencies, and individuals. Spanish Solutions is committed to providing accurate and culturally-sensitive translations that help its clients communicate effectively with their Spanish-speaking audiences.

Marcela Lopez is a public translator who specializes in English-Spanish translation. Marcela has a Certificate in Interpreting from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, and a Master's degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from the Facultad de Lenguas at the same school. Marcela also has a Postgraduate degree in Foreign Trade from the Cordoba Chamber of Commerce. In addition, they have completed 3 intensive levels of Italian language study at the Dante Alighieri Institute, and 8 years of German language study at the Goethe Institute. Finally, they are certified as an Interpreter of Portuguese Language C from the Universidade de Lisboa.
