Brenda Armendariz

Brenda Armendariz has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several roles in the creative industry. Brenda most recently worked at Spanx as the Photo & Video Production Director. Prior to that, they worked at Boll & Branch as a Sr Creative Producer, where they were responsible for various tasks such as producing campaign shoots, casting models and real people, providing art direction, and managing on-set production. Brenda also served as the Director of Production at Sway NY.

Before their recent roles, Brenda worked at Hearst Magazines as the Deputy Visuals Director and Deputy Visuals Editor, where they collaborated with the creative and marketing teams to create impactful photographic solutions. Brenda also worked as a Photo Editor at Hearst Magazines and Rodale Inc., as well as an Associate Photo Editor at Conde Nast and a Photo Producer at TWELV Magazine.

Additionally, Brenda gained experience as a Photo and Bookings Assistant at V Magazine and as a Photo Assistant at Glamour Magazine. Brenda began their career at GAP INC, where they worked as a Visual Coordinator, partnering with corporate and departmental merchants in product line reviews, merchandise presentation, and team development.

Brenda Armendariz obtained a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art with a focus on Fashion Photography from the Academy of Art University between 2009 and 2011. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Arts Degree in Visual Communications at FIDM/The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising from 2005 to 2007. Brenda also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Photography at the Academy of Art University, but specific years of study were not provided.
