Marcus Wild

Marcus Wild serves as a Member of The Management Board at SPAR Österreich since January 2021 and has been the CEO of SES Spar European Shoppingcenter GmbH since 2007, focusing on the development, management, and investment in retail real estate and shopping centers linked to SPAR grocery stores across Austria and neighboring countries. Additionally, Marcus Wild has been the Amministratore delegato at Aspiag Service srl since January 1999 and served as interim president from January to November 2000. Previously, Marcus Wild held the position of CEO at Interspar GmbH from April 1998 to August 2007, which is Austria's main hypermarket chain. In the realm of industry leadership, Marcus Wild was Chairman of ICSC Europe from April 2009 to April 2012 and continues to be a member of the ICSC European Advisory Board, while holding the status of ICSC Trustee worldwide since 2011. Education includes a degree of Magister rer. soc. oec. in economics from Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien, following studies at Aloisianum Jesuit college.
