Camille Stern has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Camille is currently serving as a Senior Director of Events at the American Petroleum Institute since 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at SPARGO, Inc. as a Senior Vice President of Strategic Account Management from 2015 onwards. In this position, they were responsible for developing and sustaining long-term strategic customer relationships, as well as leveraging company resources to create value-based solutions for clients. Before SPARGO, Inc., Camille held various positions at Naylor Event Solutions, including Vice President and Group Show Director from 2004 to 2015, and Director of Operations from 2004 to 2010. As Vice President and Group Show Director, they led strategic expansion plans and oversaw rapid implementation of customer solutions. During their tenure at Naylor Event Solutions, Camille also served as Director of Operations and Client Services at Convention Management Group from 2004 to 2009. Camille started their career at the Travel Industry Association as a Meetings Coordinator from 1986 to 1990 and subsequently worked as a Director of Sales and Marketing at Brennan's Restaurant from 1990 to 1995. Camille also has experience as a Principal at Meeting Options from 1996 to 2002 and as a Fitness Instructor at Sport & Health from 1998 to 2003. Lastly, they were the Director of Meetings at the American Bus Association from 2002 to 2004, where they coordinated various events and supervised a staff of three.

Camille Stern completed their high school education at Dallas High School from 1980 to 1983. Camille then pursued further education in the field of Travel and Tourism Management at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania from 1983 to 1985. Camille continued their education at Johnson & Wales University from 1985 to 1986, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
