Carey Keefe

Carey Keefe, CPA has a diverse work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Starting in 2012, Carey worked as a Summer Student in Enterprise Risk Management at Home Trust Company, where they completed risk analysis projects and prepared reports for the executive team. In 2013, Carey worked as a Summer Student in Funding Coordinator at Home Trust Company, reviewing client loan applications and ensuring accurate funding disbursement. From 2014 to 2015, Carey held a Marketing/Broker Relations Co-op role at Home Trust Company, managing broker accounts and ensuring proper commission payments. In 2015, Carey worked as an Accounting Associate at LiveCA LLP. From 2016 to 2017, Carey was an Accountant at Canadian Auto Repair Holdings Inc., analyzing performance metrics and handling accounting responsibilities for multiple auto repair shops. Beginning in 2017, Carey joined Spark Power Corp., initially as an Accountant, then as an Accounting Manager, overseeing financial analysis, operating procedures, and internal controls. They also led the development and execution of the corporate and business unit financial plan. In 2021, Carey joined Potentia Renewables Inc. as a Manager of FP&A and Asset Performance, responsible for financial planning, analysis, and performance monitoring. Finally, in 2023, Carey will assume the role of Director of Finance (USA) at Spark Power, a position that will utilize their extensive financial and management skills.

Carey Keefe, CPA completed a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting at the University of Guelph, which took place from 2010 to 2015. Keefe then pursued further education and obtained the Chartered Professional Accountant certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) between 2017 and 2019. Additionally, Keefe holds a certification as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor from QuickBooks Online Pro.
