Tiffany Chang has an extensive work experience in the field of medical and clinical research. Tiffany is currently serving as the Clinical Development Lead, Hematology at Spark Therapeutics, Inc. Since joining in December 2020. Prior to this, they held several roles at Genentech, starting as an Associate Medical Director in June 2015 and progressing to the positions of Medical Director and Senior Medical Director. Their tenure at Genentech spanned from June 2015 to December 2020.
Before their time at Genentech, Tiffany held various positions at the University of California, San Francisco, including Adjunct Assistant Professor, Clinical Instructor, and Post-Doctoral Fellow in the field of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Their association with the university lasted from July 2009 to July 2015.
Additionally, they served as a Neurofibromatosis Preclinical Consoritum Member (NFPC) at the Children's Tumor Foundation from July 2010 to June 2013.
Tiffany Chang completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Human Biology/ Comparative Literature at Stanford University in 2000. Tiffany then went on to pursue their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at UC Irvine from 2002 to 2006. Following that, Tiffany completed a Residency in Pediatrics at UCLA from 2006 to 2009. Tiffany then undertook a Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) from 2009 to 2012. Later on, they obtained their Master of Science (MS) in Clinical Research from UCSF, graduating in 2015. In addition, Tiffany holds certifications in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and Pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics. Tiffany also completed the American Course on Drug Development and Regulatory Sciences (ACDRS) from UCSF and the Center for Drug Development Science (CDDS).
