Tiffany Smith

Tiffany Smith is a seasoned research professional with extensive experience in biomedical research and animal model development. Currently serving as a Senior Research Associate and IACUC Coordinator at Spark Therapeutics, Inc., since June 2021, Tiffany focuses on establishing intracranial xenograft models for low-grade and diffuse intrinsic pontine gliomas. Previously, Tiffany held positions as a Research Associate I at the Center for Data Driven Discovery in Biomedicine at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and as a Research Assistant I/Preclinical Models at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Tiffany's earlier experience includes a significant tenure at the University of Pennsylvania as a research specialist lead in vivo microdialysis studies, where Tiffany utilized advanced techniques to investigate serotonergic responses to various pharmacological agents. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Comparative and Laboratory Animal Medicine from Drexel University and a Bachelor's of Science in Environmental Health Science from Purdue University.
