Nashira Babooram has extensive work experience in the media and marketing industry. Nashira began their career in 2001 as a Sales Consultant and Shift Supervisor at Orange Personal Communications Services Limited, where they consistently exceeded monthly sales objectives and developed in-store promotions and marketing campaigns. In 2004, they moved to Zons PR, where they managed multiple projects and accounts, reported to the Chief Executive Officer, and supervised the marketing and publicity of international clients. From 2007 to 2011, they were a Senior Marketing Manager at Tampa Bay Lightning & St. Pete Times Forum, responsible for marketing a 21,500 capacity arena, NHL team, Arena Football team, and over 100 concerts and events held annually. Nashira also prepared and executed targeted media plans across traditional and non-traditional marketing platforms, and developed brand strategies and campaign briefs. Finally, from 2011 to present, they have held the roles of Media Director and Media Planner/Buyer at SPARK.
Nashira Babooram obtained their Bachelor degree in Psychology from the University of Surrey between 2001 and 2004. In June 2018, they received their Google AdWords Display Certification and Google Analytics Individual Certification from Google.
