Kieran Cooper

Kieran Cooper has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to email marketing and technical account management. Kieran is currently the Director of Technical Account Management Services at SparkPost, a MessageBird company, where they support users of SparkPost Enterprise in Europe and ensures customer satisfaction. Kieran also previously served as the Manager of the Technical Account Manager team at SparkPost. Before joining SparkPost, Kieran worked as a Technical Account Manager and Engagement Manager at SparkPost, an Email Consultant at Ryanair, and a Project Manager - Email at Purple Seven. Kieran also has experience as a Project Manager at Creator Ltd and Pilotbean. Earlier in their career, Kieran held multiple roles at Lyris, including Business Development Manager, Senior Sales Engineer and Trainer, Senior Account Manager, and General Manager UK. Kieran began their career as the Director of Facultas, a full-service agency specializing in email marketing. Kieran also worked as the Director of Catalyst Arts, a management consultancy, and as the Head of Marketing and Community Relations at Bath Festivals Trust. Throughout their career, Kieran has gained certifications as a Data Protection Officer and Information Privacy Professional.

Kieran Cooper completed a CIM DipM in Marketing at Cambridge Marketing College from 1995 to 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a BA Hons in Music from the University of Leeds, which they attended from 1987 to 1990. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in September 2023, Certified Data Protection Officer from PECB in February 2018, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in July 2015.
