Jorge Fernandez de Tejada Quemada has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jorge started their career as a Photographer at Canal 7 TV in 2006 and later worked as a Graphic Designer for Gestión Integral de Callejeros S.A. in 2007. From 2011 to 2012, they served as a Professor of Digital Reflex Photography at HARTFORD SL.
In 2013, they had an internship as a Web Developer at Hospital Universitario de la Princesa, where they worked on developing management apps. Jorge then joined ATOS - BULL in 2014 as a UX/UI Designer and Front-end Developer, contributing to projects for AENA, Telepizza, Mapfre, UPM, Aemet, and Correos.
From 2015 to 2016, they worked at Gfi Informatique as a UX/UI Designer and Front-end Developer. In 2016, they became a CEO of Famulus Publisher at ediciones famulus, leading a startup focused on illusionism books.
In 2018, Jorge joined KingEclient, where they held various roles, including Design Lead for Al Rajhi Bank, UX/UI Designer for Deutsche Bank, and UX/UI Designer for Ryad Bank. Jorge worked on designing mobile banking applications, collaborating with international teams and utilizing Agile methodologies.
Most recently, Jorge is working as a Senior Product Designer at Sparta Commodities since 2021. Throughout their career, they have acquired skills in graphic design, web design, UX/UI design, research, marketing, and project management. Jorge also has experience as a freelancer, specializing in graphic and web design, illustration, and photography.
Jorge Fernandez de Tejada Quemada attended Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a degree in Fine Arts with a focus on Graphic Design, Photography, and Illustration. Jorge then attended IES Rey Fernando VI from 2011 to 2013, completing an Upper Grade Educational Cycle in Development Web Applications. In 2004 and 2005, they also attended Universidad Europea for a Film school program with a specialty in Photography.
In terms of additional certifications, Jorge completed a Design Thinking course titled "Understanding the Process" through LinkedIn in July 2019. Additionally, they obtained a certification in the VISUAL DESIGN WORKSHOP from UXER SCHOOL in June 2018.
