Nic Smith

Nic S. has a diverse work experience in the field of web development and design. Starting as a Marketing/Web Design Intern at Alliance Fire Protection Services in 2016, Nic gained foundational skills in marketing and web design. In 2016, Nic also worked as a Frontend Developer (NodeJS) at BBVA Compass.

Continuing to expand their skill set, Nic joined IsoMetrix GRC Software in 2017 as a Systems Consultant. In 2019, Nic transitioned to a Marketing Web Developer role at Austin Hardware & Supply, Inc, where they utilized Magento and Hubspot for the main site CMS and blog site. They also worked with Javascript, CSS, and HTML to create new functionalities and improve the design.

In 2021, Nic ventured into freelancing as a Web Developer and Designer, offering their services independently. As a Freelance Web Developer, Nic built websites for various clients.

In 2022, Nic joined Spatial Front, Inc as a Frontend Developer and started working on frontend development tasks.

Later in the same year, Nic joined LUCKIE, where they worked as a Frontend Developer. Here, they utilized JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, and PHP for maintenance, functionality upgrades, and redesigning the company website.

Overall, Nic S. has demonstrated a strong background in frontend development, utilizing a range of programming languages and CMS platforms.

Nic S. completed their Associate's Degree in Computer Programming from Gwinnett Technical College from 2014 to 2016. Before that, from 2009 to 2012, they earned their Bachelor's Degree in General Studies from Georgia Southern University. In addition to their formal education, Nic S. obtained a Java Programmer Certificate from Gwinnett Technical College in April 2016 and a SAFe 5 Practitioner certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in November 2022.
