Sammy Chang

Sammy Chang has four years of work experience. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Product Engineer at Eric Knapp Engineering & Consulting and as a Machinist's Assistant/Operator at Circular Technologies. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as an R&D Mechanical Engineer/Manufacturing Engineer at Repligen Corporation, where their duties included equipment specification, design, installation, qualification, and troubleshooting of capital R&D equipment. Sammy also had experience designing machinery to be used in an ISO class 7 cleanroom. Currently, they are working as a Mechanical Engineer at Spatial Genomics, Inc.

Sammy Chang obtained a B.A. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in Design from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2017. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Advanced PLC and Intro to PLC from Interconnecting Automation in March 2019, Swagelok Tube Bending from Swagelok Los Angeles in January 2019, FE Mechanical (EIT) from NCEES in November 2016, and Certified SolidWorks Associate from the Solidworks Certification Center in December 2015.
