Margaret Palmer

Margaret Palmer is an experienced professional in social services and advocacy, currently working as a Member Advocate at Suncoast Credit Union since April 2019. In addition to this role, Margaret has been a dedicated volunteer with SPCA Florida since November 2017. Prior experience includes serving as Program Manager at CSH, the Source for Housing Solutions, where responsibilities encompassed providing technical assistance to federal grantees and leading training sessions on best practices in housing solutions. Margaret also held the position of Assistant Program Manager at CSH and interned with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, contributing to compliance and regulatory projects. Earlier roles included leadership in fundraising and community outreach with the Homeless Coalition of Hillsborough County and various experiences supporting social initiatives. Margaret holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Policy from Northwestern University.
