Walter Angerer

Walter Angerer has a long and varied career in the technology industry. Walter is currently the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Veritas Technologies LLC, a role they have held since 2020. Prior to this, they were the Founder of speak2web from 2018 to 2020. Walter was also the President of Angerer Consulting Inc. from 2012 to 2018, and held the roles of Board Member and CEO of Parsec Labs LLC from 2013 to 2018. From 2013 to 2018, they were also the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Quorum. In 2013, they were a Venture Partner at Toba Capital. From 2011 to 2012, they were the SVP & GM, Data Protection at Quest Software and from 2006 to 2011, they were the VP, Appliance & Cloud Engineering and Sr. Director, NetBackup Development at Symantec. From 2005 to 2006, they were the Senior Manager Software Development at Symantec (VERITAS) and from 1995 to 2005, they were the Manager Software Development at Siemens PT&D.

Walter Angerer completed a Master in Applied Physics from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz between 1988 and 1995.
