Katie Brzozowski

Katie Brzozowski is a skilled psychotherapist and educator with extensive experience in the field of social work. Currently, Katie serves as the owner and psychotherapist at SpeakEasy Counseling and Psychotherapy since August 2022, while also operating Dr. Kathryn Brzozowski, LLC since January 2012, focusing on aging, grief and loss, illness adjustment, and life transitions. Katie has held academic positions as a tenure-track Assistant Professor at Stockton University from July 2019 to August 2022 and as an Assistant Professor at Temple University from August 2013 to June 2019, teaching courses in the BSW and MSW programs. Previous roles include oncology social worker at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals and Florida Hospital. Katie holds a Doctorate in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Social Work from the University of Central Florida, along with a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of South Florida.
