Ivana Airo

Ivana Airo is currently the Health and Wellness Program Manager at Special Olympics New Jersey, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this role, Ivana served as a Special Education Teacher at Upper Freehold Regional School District from September 2022 to June 2023, where the focus included developing strategies for the social and academic growth of students and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for over 100 learners. Ivana's experience also includes working as a Fitness Instructor at Special Olympics New Jersey, creating individualized fitness programs and tracking client progress from April 2022 to June 2023, and serving as a Special Education Teacher at Hamilton Township School District from September 2018 to June 2022, where lesson plans and instructional materials were developed for diverse populations. Earlier roles include Educational Assistant at Kean University and Mentor at Mercer County Community College. Ivana holds a Bachelor of Education in Special Education and Teaching from Kean University, obtained in May 2019.
