James Hammond is currently serving as the State Manager for Victoria and Tasmania at Special Olympics Australia since August 2022. Prior to this role, James held several positions at St Kilda Football Club from March 2018 to August 2022, including Community Engagement Programs Coordinator and Play To Your Strengths Coordinator, where responsibilities included delivering community engagement initiatives and managing various school programs. James also gained experience as a Community Engagement Intern, contributing to the Next Generation Academy. Additional experience includes a short tenure as a Community Associate Intern at Black Cat Data and earlier work as a Bar Attendant at The Rocks Mornington. James holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Deakin University and a Bachelor's degree in Sports and Exercise Science/Business (Sport Management) from the same institution.
