Meghan McLean

Meghan McLean has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Meghan is currently working at Special Olympics Florida as the Chief Operating Officer since July 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Vice President, Operations & Programs at Special Olympics Florida from August 2022 to July 2023.

Before joining Special Olympics Florida, Meghan served as the Senior Vice President, Sports at the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games from January 2020 to August 2022. Meghan also worked at Special Olympics Florida from 2014 to 2020, where they held multiple positions including Senior Director, Sports & Programs from March 2018 to January 2020, Director, Sports and Programs from November 2016 to March 2018, and Manager of Sport Competition and Training from February 2014 to November 2016.

In addition to their roles in Special Olympics organizations, Meghan also worked at Big East Conference as the Tournament Activities Coordinator in January 2014, and at Delle Donne and Associates as an Assistant Property Manager from August 2012 to April 2013.

Meghan McLean obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Delaware, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In November 2020, they also obtained a certification in LEADForward Connect from the Accendo Leadership Advisory Group.
