Richard J. Pierce

Richard J. Pierce has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Richard J. started their career in 1978 as a Police Officer for the Attleboro Police Department, eventually rising to the position of Chief of Police. During their tenure, they were responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the operations of the department. Richard J. also served as the Assistant Emergency Management Director for the City of Attleboro during the same period.

In 2011, Richard took on a volunteer position as the Co-Director for the Law Enforcement Torch Run Program at Special Olympics Massachusetts. Richard J. provided direction and motivation to volunteers, raised funds, and ensured visibility and representation at various events.

Richard then moved into the private sector, working as the Director of Security for Alloy Holdings LLC, DBA as The Lee's Morvillo Group, from 2014 to 2018. In this role, they oversaw the security department, developed security strategies, and implemented security systems.

From 2018 to 2019, Richard served as the Senior Director of Security for LeachGarner - A Berkshire Hathaway Company. Richard J. was responsible for maintaining and enforcing security policies and procedures at multiple manufacturing facilities.

Most recently, Richard worked as the Security Operations Manager for Northeast Security Inc. at the Boston Properties - Atlantic Wharf site from 2019 to 2023. In this role, they directed and oversaw the day-to-day security operations of a high-rise office building.

Richard J. Pierce earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth from 1971 to 1975. Richard J. then attended Roger Williams University from 1982 to 1986 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Justice. Finally, from 2006 to 2008, they pursued a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration at Anna Maria College.
