Lauren Mulhern

Lauren Mulhern currently serves as Senior Manager and Area Program Manager for Special Olympics Northern California since April 2019. In addition, Lauren is a Board Member of Redwood Trails Alliance, a position held since July 2022. Prior experience includes roles as an Academic Mentor in Athletics at Santa Clara University, Athletic Leader at Bay Area Women's Sports Initiative (BAWSI), and Event Manager at Stanford Athletics. Previous positions also include Assistant Mammal Keeper at Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, Sales Specialist at REI, Program Consultant at 1440 Foundation, and wildlife rehabilitation at UT Marine Science Institute's Animal Rehabilitation Keep. Earlier in career, Lauren worked as a Primate Caregiver at Wildtracks. Lauren earned a Master's degree in Sport Management from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University.
