Sidny Harker

Sidny Harker, PMP, currently serves as the Director of Project Management for Games & Program Technologies within Enterprise Solutions at Special Olympics since March 2017, having been promoted to this position and also taking on roles as Product Owner and Project Manager. Prior experience includes serving as the Project Senior Manager and Implementation Manager of SO Connect, responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of an online registration and competition management system. Earlier roles at Special Olympics Texas featured the Director of Competition and Games and Director of Games Management, where Sidny managed statewide sports programs and provided training on event management software. Additional experience includes event coordination and management roles at Carroll University, Marquette University, Special Olympics Wisconsin, Loras College, Middleton High School, and the City of Saint Paul. Sidny holds a Master’s in Leadership Studies with a concentration in Sport Leadership from Marquette University, a Project Management certificate from the University of Texas at Austin, and a B.S. in Sport Management & Administration from Loras College.
