Director Of Learning And Development, Unified Champion Schools, SONA at Special Olympics

Susan Colacello is an experienced educator and leader in the field of inclusivity, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at The College of New Jersey and as Director of Learning and Development for Unified Champion Schools at Special Olympics. With a robust background in disability awareness and inclusive education, Susan has held various roles, including Professional Development Content Consultant for Special Olympics North America and Co-Founder of Inspired-Threads, Inc. Previously, Susan directed school and community partnerships at Special Olympics New Jersey, where initiatives aimed at fostering social inclusion were developed. Susan also has lectured on disability awareness in healthcare at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine and Down Syndrome awareness at Princeton University's Genetics Course. Education includes a degree in Economics and Finance from Elmhurst University and completion of the NJ LEND program focused on coordinated healthcare for individuals with disabilities.
