Jody Thatcher

Jody Thatcher is an experienced educator and administrator with a strong background in special education and local government. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Specialized Education Services, Inc. since August 2022, Jody employs various instructional strategies and develops individualized lesson plans, while ensuring student safety and progress monitoring. In addition to teaching, Jody has extensive administrative experience as the Township Clerk for Wilton Township since January 2012, responsible for record-keeping, meeting management, and election oversight. Previous roles include Special Education Teacher/Curriculum Coordinator at The Menta Group, Local Union Certified Steward with Afscme Council 31, and Student Records Clerk at Joliet Job Corps Center. Jody holds a Graduate Alternative Pathway/Special Education Certificate from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Charter Oak State College.
