Ahmed Yacoub

Ahmed Yacoub has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Ahmed is currently the Head of Admissions in the Department of Business Development at Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital. In this role, Ahmed is responsible for overseeing all areas of inpatient programs and developing effective plans for long-term organizational success.

Prior to their current position, Ahmed worked as a Business Development Manager at Cambridge Medical & Rehabilitation Center from 2019 to 2022. Ahmed formed profitable alliances with healthcare providers, regulators, and payers, and successfully managed assigned service lines with the implementation of successful strategies.

In 2018, Ahmed served as an Associate Marketing Manager at Mediclinic Middle East, where they were responsible for patient acquisition and ensuring consistent messaging and brochures across all branches. Ahmed also oversaw screening programs at various organizations and labor camps.

Before joining Mediclinic, Ahmed held the position of Business Development Executive at the American Center for Psychiatry and Neurology from 2017 to 2018. Ahmed worked with government stakeholders to ensure accessibility to services for schools and universities and established partnerships with government organizations and healthcare facilities.

Earlier in their career, Ahmed gained experience in the pharmaceutical industry, working as an Oncology Product Specialist at Sanofi from 2014 to 2016, a PSR at Pfizer from 2012 to 2014, a Product Specialist at Merck in 2011, and an Oncology Product Specialist at Roche from 2009 to 2011.

Ahmed Yacoub completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at The University of Manchester from 2024 to 2025. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of pharmacy and Pre-masters in biotechnology from The German University in Cairo between 2004 and 2009. Ahmed's high school education was completed at Dar El Tarbia school, where they earned their IGCSE diploma from 1990 to 2004.
