Peter Shaw Engtech Mimeche

Peter Shaw EngTech MIMechE is an experienced professional currently serving as Production Manager and Team Lead at Alstom since October 2020, focusing on the Aventra Class 720 passenger trains. With a background in rolling stock as a Rail Technician, Peter also has a longstanding role in event stage security with Specialized Security since May 2013. Peter's previous extensive military career with the British Army from September 1997 to October 2020 included roles as Power Packs Repair Manager, Welfare Officer, Senior Instructor, and Vehicle Mechanic. In these capacities, Peter managed army recruits, provided military skills instruction, and ensured timely maintenance and repair of various military vehicles and equipment while leading and developing workshop production teams. Education includes study at the Defence School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from 1998 to 1999 and graduation from Hyde Technology School, Cheshire, from 1991 to 1996.
