Mark Ryser

Mark Ryser has a diverse work experience in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Mark currently holds the position of Medical Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Specialty Dental Brands since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons as a member of the Committee on Continuing Education and Professional Development and as the Utah Delegate in the AAOMS House of Delegates starting from April 2022. Mark also has experience as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Aspire Surgical since March 2017 and at Intermountain Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since July 2007. Mark began their career as a Resident at Carolinas Center for Oral & Facial Surgery in 2005.

Mark Ryser attended Brigham Young University from 1991 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. Mark then enrolled at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry from 1997 to 2001 and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree in the field of Dentistry. Following this, Mark pursued further education at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. During the same period, they also completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry from 2001 to 2007. Additionally, Mark completed an Internship in General Surgery at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center from 2004 to 2005.
