Ajit Venkatraman

Ajit Venkatraman has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Ajit began their career as a Process Supervisor/Engineer at a chemical plant in Texas, where they focused on safety, PSM, and technology. Ajit then moved on to work as a Materials Manager for a medical products business in Delaware, where they successfully implemented an MRPII system and achieved Class A certification. Ajit also served as an Operations Superintendent for medical products in North Carolina before becoming a Supply Chain Consultant, educating senior leadership teams on supply chain efficiencies.

In their role as a Business Systems Manager for a performance coatings company in Virginia, Ajit led a successful multi-site SAP project, improving planning and control processes. Ajit was then promoted to Plant Manager for the same company in Iowa, where they implemented productivity and restructuring measures, and was recognized as Businessman of the Year for their community involvement during downsizing. Ajit's next role was as Managing Director for a performance coatings business in Shanghai, where they oversaw all aspects of the Asia Pacific market and led the construction of a greenfield coatings plant in Shanghai and a plant in India.

Prior to their current position, Ajit worked as the Global Operations Director for a coatings business in Delaware, where they managed manufacturing and distribution across 11 global sites. Ajit also served as the VP of Engineering and Operations for a materials technology company, and as the General Manager of Crop Nutrients at a company called CHS.

Most recently, Ajit is the President/COO and co-founder of Spectator Health, a company focused on advancing senior care through technology. Ajit aims to improve the quality of care for seniors in long-term care facilities and at home by providing personal safety, medication safety, and comprehensive care management solutions. Previously, they were the Chief Operating Officer of Fluids Mfg, Inc, overseeing the construction and start-up of a cannabis oil extraction facility, and the Chief Operating Officer of Biosynthetic Technologies, where they led efforts to scale up pilot plant facilities for manufacturing synthetic motor and industrial oils from bio-based oils.
