Brad Wilkin

Brad Wilkin has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. In 1987, they started their career as a Technical Support Product Specialist and then became a Software Engineer at Schlumberger CAD/CAM. At Storage Technology Corporation (StorageTek), they worked as an Advisory Mechanical Engineer and Finite Element analyst, where they introduced simulation tools and served as a champion of MCAE tool usage. Brad then joined StorageTek as an Advisory Mechanical Engineering Manager, leading a team in developing physical equipment and integrating tape storage products. Later, at Sun Microsystems Inc., they served as a Consulting Hardware Engineering Manager, focusing on the development and launch of various storage-related products. Brad then joined Oracle as a Senior Software Engineering Manager, where they managed multi-disciplined engineering teams and ensured timely product development. Currently, they work as an Engineering Manager at Spectra Logic.

Brad Wilkin has a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Brigham Young University. Brad also holds a Master's Degree from the same university, with a focus on Structural Engineering, Fluids, Numerical Analysis, and Computer-Aided Engineering. In addition to their academic degrees, Brad has obtained several certifications, including "Blockchain Basics" from Lynda.com and "Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Utah State" from the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing. Brad also has a certification in "Agile ScrumMaster" from Rally Corporation.
