David Weaver

David Weaver has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. David began their career in the U.S. Army as a Communications Tech for the 82nd Airborne Division. David then worked as a Server/LAN Administrator at Kirke-VAN Orsdel, Inc., where they supported Netware file servers and user support. Later, at Credence Automation Systems, they served as a Sr. Network Engineer/System Administrator, designing and implementing networks utilizing Microsoft BackOffice components.

At Software Intelligence, Inc., a division of plaNet Consulting, they worked as a System Administrator/Operations Manager, responsible for ISP customer support and supporting the E-Commerce development team. At plaNet Consulting, Inc., they served as a Technical Services Manager, managing NT servers and overseeing 200 users.

David then joined CreekPath Systems as an Implementation Engineer, where they implemented storage networks at Internet data centers, focusing on managed storage services. Later at Chaparral Network Storage, they worked as a Custom Solutions Engineer, responsible for customer solutions and functional and system testing of enterprise storage services. David also briefly worked as a Sales Engineer and a Field Application Engineer at Chaparral Network Storage.

At Brocade, they served as a Sr. Test Engineer - Lead, leading product testing for FC and IP SAN products. David also worked on the Fabric OS (FOS) director and switch product line, working closely with development and test architects.

David then joined Oracle as a Principal Quality Engineer, responsible for functional test quality of various products, including Flash Storage (FS) Cloud and ZFSSA. David also served as a Senior Principal Software Test Engineer - Tech Lead, managing test development and execution. David later worked as a Software Development Manager, heading a team of Software Engineers for the ZFS Storage Appliance.

David'smost recent role is as a Senior Software Test Engineer (Emerging Storage Solutions) at Spectra Logic, where they apply their testing expertise to new storage solutions.

David Weaver's education history is as follows:

- From 2000 to 2014, they attended the University of Phoenix, where they took business/information systems classes. However, they did not earn a specific degree.

- Between 1985 and 1993, they received training in "Basics in Electricity, Electronics, Radio Communications, and Technical Support" through the US Army Radio Communications.
