Eric West

Eric West has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Eric started their career at Sun Microsystems, where they held various positions over a twelve-year period, gaining exposure to Solaris, UNIX, SAN, and backup products. In 2009, they joined First Data Corporation as a Systems Engineer II, where they supported multi-petabyte backup environments across the United States using NetBackup 6.x and 7. After four years, they moved to SunGard Availability Services as a Senior Backup Storage Engineer, responsible for backup storage diagnostics, capacity planning, and disaster recovery planning and implementation using NetBackup 6. Eric recently joined Spectra Logic as a Product Support Engineer, analyzing and troubleshooting hardware and customer environments and identifying product quality issues.

Eric West attended Humboldt State University from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems.
