Mariam B.

Mariam B. is a Junior Web Developer currently employed at Spectra Plasmonics since December 2023. Mariam has gained diverse experience in research and technology roles, including serving as a Research Assistant/Data Analyst at the Schlegel-UW Research Institute for Aging from May 2024 to August 2024, and as a Human Factors Technician at HumanSystems Incorporated from September 2023 to December 2023. Previous experience includes a Research Assistant position at the University of Waterloo and a Website Developer role at Spectra Plasmonics. Mariam has also worked as a Cashier at Canadian Tire Corporation and participated in the Google Computer Science Summer Institute in July 2021, where programming skills in JavaScript and Firebase were developed. A Shad Fellow in 2020, Mariam is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Waterloo, expected to graduate in April 2026.
