Tiago Rocha

Tiago Rocha is an experienced embedded engineer with a strong background in IoT sensor development, PCB design, and low-power optimization. Currently working at Spectral since November 2018, Tiago has previously held roles as a data scientist at Dashmote and co-founder of Blocks Technology, where firmware programming for 3D printers was a key responsibility. Additional experience includes developing embedded systems for various projects at LEDs&Chips and contributing as an assistant professor at Instituto Superior Técnico, teaching instrumentation and measurements. Tiago holds a PhD and MSc in Electronics and Computer Science from Instituto Superior Técnico, with prior development work involving bio-sensing equipment and innovative recycling solutions.
